O’Rourke Bros. Memorials and Abate Monuments continues to serve Peabody and Danvers with compassionate service and impeccable craftsmanship. We are familiar with the rules and regulations in all cemeteries in the area and can help you choose the appropriate size headstone for your lot. In some instances, corner posts are required on a large family plot. Sometimes, flush markers are allowed in conjunction with the upright headstone. Our job is to inform you of the options available, while making sure that you understand the requirements of the cemetery, their fees and obligations.
We also offer cemetery lettering in all the local cemeteries and can add a name and date for you without having to outsource. Please call us or use our webform. We’d be happy to give you a no-obligation estimate.
In addition to headstones and grave markers, we’ve also created numerous civic monuments and war memorials. In 2011, we created for the Peabody Historical Commission a War memorial dedicated to four Medal of Honor recipients. It consists of a large granite boulder, along with two black granite curved benches. In 2013, we designed a bronze plaque for the City of Peabody to commemorate the Peabody East End Veterans Memorial Park Project. O’Rourke Bros. Memorials also designed the American Women’s Veterans Memorial in front of Peabody City Hall.
Please visit our indoor showroom in Salem, or our sister store in Beverly to view our extensive inventory of beautiful memorials. Our experienced and compassionate team can help you create a headstone, grave marker or bronze marker that will last forever.
